...MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT AREA BEACHES THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Northeast Florida,
Southeast Georgia and the Adjacent Coastal Waters.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

There is a moderate risk of rip currents at area beaches.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon across
southeast Georgia. Heavy rain is the primary hazard, though a few
stronger storms could produce brief gusty winds and frequent
lightning strikes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

Moderate risk for rip currents Wednesday.

Isolated to scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms are
expected on Wednesday. Storms are expected to be more numerous
Thursday through Saturday. Heavy rainfall is the main weather
hazard late this week, with a few stronger thunderstorms possible
each day containing gusty winds and frequent lightning strikes.

Winds and seas will increase this weekend near exercise caution
levels, with seas near Small Craft Advisory a possibility on
Saturday. Elevated rip current risk will be possible this weekend as
well.
