THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED OVER
AND NEAR THE MOUNTAINS THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH THE BEST COVERAGE
OF STORMS ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL MOUNTAINS. A FEW
SHOWERS OR STORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE EASTERN PLAINS
THROUGH TONIGHT. STORM THREATS TODAY INCLUDE LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH.
IF THE HEAVY RAIN HAPPENS TO FALL OVER AN AREA BURN
SCAR...LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE. THE BEST CHANCE
OF HEAVY RAIN WILL BE OVER THE SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A COUPLE OF MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER
THE PLAINS TOMORROW. THE BEST CHANCE OF ANY SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE
ACROSS FAR NORTHEASTERN EL PASO COUNTY AND AREAS EAST OF LA JUNTA
TO KIM. THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL BE HAIL UP TO ONE
INCH IN DIAMETER AND WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH.

SCATTERED STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA
TOMORROW...WITH THE PRIMARY THREATS BEING CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN.

STORMS WILL BECOME ISOLATED TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...WITH MOST
ACTIVITY REMAINING OVER THE MOUNTAINS. THE MAIN STORM THREATS
THROUGH THIS PERIOD WILL BE LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS.

WEATHER THAT MEETS REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE POSSIBLE
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...MAINLY OVER AND NEAR THE HIGHER
TERRAIN. PLEASE NOTE THAT HEAVY RAIN MAY OCCUR THIS EVENING
THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS MONDAY ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST
MOUNTAINS.
