THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP BY LATE
MORNING AND BECOME MORE NUMEROUS THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
HOURS. A FEW STRONG STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE...CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL AND MINOR FLOODING...IN ADDITION TO
GUSTY WINDS AND LIGHTNING. STORMS SHOULD GRADUALLY DIMINISH
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

...TROPICAL IMPACT...
A STRONG TROPICAL WAVE CONTINUES TO CHURN OVER THE WATERS
NORTHWEST OF PUERTO RICO THIS MORNING. THIS FEATURE IS POISED TO
CONTINUE MOVING NORTHWESTWARD...WITH AN 80 PERCENT CHANCE OF
BECOMING A TROPICAL DEPRESSION...OR POSSIBLY A TROPICAL STORM OVER
THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THERE ARE STILL MANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE
PRECISE PATH AND INTENSITY OF THIS SYSTEM...BUT ALL INTERESTS
ACROSS FLORIDA AND THE NORTHERN GULF COAST...SHOULD MONITOR THE
SITUATION CLOSELY AS THIS SYSTEM DRIFTS NORTHWESTWARD TOWARD THE
BAHAMAS THIS WEEKEND.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY.
