...SOME DENSE SEA FOG EXPECTED ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS OF
SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA INTO MONDAY...

UNSEASONABLY WARM AND MOIST AIR WILL MOVE NORTHWARD ACROSS THE
COOL ATLANTIC WATERS OFF THE LOWER SOUTH CAROLINA AND NORTHERN
GEORGIA COASTS INTO MONDAY. THIS IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF SEA FOG...MAINLY WITHIN 20 NM FROM SHORE. THIS
INCLUDES THE CHARLESTON AND SAVANNAH HARBORS. THE FOG IS EXPECTED
TO BECOME WIDESPREAD TONIGHT AND BE LOCALLY DENSE WITH
VISIBILITIES OF ONE HALF NAUTICAL MILE OR LESS AT TIMES. A MARINE
DENSE FOG ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE ISSUED AS A RESULT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS ARE URGED TO NAVIGATE WITH EXTREME CARE IF SEA FOG IS
ENCOUNTERED. USE PROPER FOG SIGNALS...INCLUDING FOG HORNS...AND MAKE
SURE ALL NAVIGATIONAL RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ON.

PLEASE RELAY ANY REPORTS OF SEA FOG TO THE CHARLESTON OR TYBEE
ISLAND COAST GUARD STATIONS AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY FORWARD
YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
