...HEFTY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ON THE FLORIDA STRAITS...

THE COMBINATION OF A LOW LEVEL UNDULATION AND AN ABUNDANCE OF
MOISTURE WILL RESULT IN SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ON THE FLORIDA STRAITS SOUTHEAST OF THE MIDDLE AND UPPER KEYS INTO
THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD.

SOME OF THE STRONGER CELLS WILL DELIVER WIND GUSTS NEAR 30
KNOTS...CUT VISIBILITY TO BELOW 3 MILES IN HEAVY RAIN AND OCCASIONAL TO
FREQUENT CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING STRIKES.

MARINERS SHOULD STAY IN PORT...BUT IF YOU DO GET CAUGHT...STAY BELOW
DECK AND AWAY FROM ALL METAL OBJECTS. ALSO...MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS
WEARING THEIR SAFETY FLOTATION DEVICES.
