...STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS AND BUILDING WAVES INTO TONIGHT...

.COLDER AIR FUNNELING SOUTHWARD ACROSS LAKE MICHIGAN BEHIND A
DEPARTING COLD FRONT WILL HELP TO CREATE STRONG WIND GUSTS OVER
THE NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN TODAY. WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO
40 KNOTS ARE POSSIBLE. THESE STRONG WINDS FROM THE NORTH TO
NORTHEAST WILL CAUSE HIGH WAVES AS WELL.

THE WINDS AND WAVES WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE LATER TONIGHT AND SUNDAY.

OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
