.NOW...

At 156 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms from near
Gordon to 13 miles northeast of Wild Horse Butte, moving southeast
at 20 mph.

This afternoon...The storms will move southeast through Western
Nebraska and produce occasional lightning and up to 1/4 inch of
rainfall.

This rain was associated with warm temperatures and a weak upper
level disturbance across the high plains. Cooler temperatures this
evening should cause the storms to weaken.

Locations impacted include...
Gordon, Rushville, Clinton, Highway 61 crossing the Snake River, Big
Hill, Morgan Lake, Billys Lake, Lone Butte, Highway 27 crossing the
Niobrara River, Smith Lake State Wildlife Management Area,
Intersection of Highway 20 and Irwin Road, Highway 250 crossing the
Niobrara River, Walgren Lake State Recreation Area, Rock Hill,
Bayonne, Intersection of Highway 27 and Mills Road, Snow Lake,
Wickson Lake, Diamond Lake and Intersection of Highway 61 and
Shadbolt Road.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 90 and 123.
 Highway 250 between mile markers 5 and 48.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 102 and 107.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 199 and 213.
