...DENSE FOG CONTINUES OVER NORTHWEST ILLINOIS THIS MORNING...

.Fog has mostly dissipated over eastern Iowa. However, widespread
dense fog persists over northwest Illinois. As temperatures slowly
warm through the morning hours, expect the rest of the fog to
dissipate by noon.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 9 AM CST THIS MORNING...

Patchy fog lingers near the Mississippi River, especially south of
the Quad Cities. Expect any lingering fog to dissipate by 10 am as
temperatures continue to warm.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...

* Visibilities...Visibilities will be widespread under 1/4 mile.

* Timing...The fog will remain dense through 11 am...and begin to
  lift by noon.

* Impacts...Visibility under 1/4 mile at times will be
  widespread...with some locations seeing near zero visibility at
  times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
