...Breezy and Gusty Southerly Winds Today...

.A tight pressure gradient between a low pressure system in the
Southern Plains and high pressure ridging in from the Western
Atlantic will produce quite breezy and gusty southerly winds for
the remainder of the afternoon. These elevated winds will decrease
just before sunset.

  become difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, on
  open roadways and bridges.
