  Weather Service Survey Team and is subject to change pending
  final review ot the event and publication in National Weather
  Service Storm Data.

Additional information...

A National Weather Service storm survey revealed that an EF-0
tornado damaged a home just outside of the southwest edge of
Springfield. Damage to the roof...gutters...and awnings had
occurred. This tornado was a brief touchdown and the width was
measured at 40 yards. There was debris noted to the east of this
home...however...it has not been determined if the path continued
further.

into the following categories:

EF0...Wind speeds  65 to  85 MPH.
EF1...Wind speeds  86 t0 110 MPH.

EF4...Wind speeds 166 to 200 MPH.
