...ELEVATED FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS ACROSS THE EASTERN BRUSH
COUNTRY...COASTAL PLAINS...AND SOUTHERN COASTAL BEND THIS
AFTERNOON...

VERY WARM TEMPERATURES ARE COMBINING WITH A DRY AIRMASS AND
OCCASIONALLY GUSTY WINDS...RESULTING IN AN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER
CONDITION ACROSS THE BRUSH COUNTRY...COASTAL PLAINS...AND
SOUTHERN COASTAL BEND THIS AFTERNOON.

WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS
AROUND 25 MPH COMBINED WITH AFTERNOON HUMIDITY FROM 10 TO 15
PERCENT WILL RESULT IN THE ELEVATED FIRE DANGER. WINDS WILL
DIMINISH AND HUMIDITY VALUES WILL INCREASE THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON.


AFFECTED RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CARE WITH RESPECT TO ALL
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES THAT COULD INADVERTENTLY CAUSE WILDFIRES. AVOID
THE USE OF WELDING OF GRINDING EQUIPMENT NEAR WEEKS, GRASS AND
DRY BRUSH. IN ADDITION, AVOID PARKING VEHICLES IN TALL, DRY GRASS
AND WEEDS THAT COULD BE IGNITED. DO NOT TOSS CIGARETTE BUTTS ON
THE GROUND. REPORT WILDFIRES QUICKLY TO THE NEAREST FIRE
DEPARTMENT OR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE.
