.DISCUSSION...

Cloudy and damp conditions will persist through Sunday before
finally coming to an end on Monday. Winds today will gradually
turn to the north this afternoon, but remain light in nature.
Northerly winds persist on Monday, with a few gusts to 20 mph
possible in the Missouri River valley Monday afternoon. Dry
conditions persist into Tuesday, with clouds again returning.
Winds will turn to the northeast, but remain well below critical
thresholds. Overall, the fire danger risks remains low for the
next 3 to 4 days.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The Grassland Fire Danger Index will reach the low category
this afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses and other dry organic material on the
ground indicate that the probability of a fire occurrence is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions.

OUTLOOK FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON...The Grassland Fire Danger Index
will reach the low category.
