DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA
118 PM EST Sun Jan 21 2018

Dry and seasonably mild conditions are expected this afternoon with
light wind. Clouds move up from the southwest tonight and cover the
region overnight and Monday. Some light rain or mixed precipitation
will be possible Monday. A weather system passing to our west will
bring the bulk of the precipitation Tuesday.

With dry conditons on tap through the weekend, area main stem river
levels will continue to slowly recede through Monday. The rain on
Tuesday may generate rises.

The lower Connecticut River at Middle Haddam continues to be steady
or slowly receding, but will remain above flood stage due to ice
jams. Slight fluctuations are possible due to the ice jams. Slight
rises due to rain are possible on Tuesday.

These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
