DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA
1151 AM EDT Wed Jul 26 2017

During the past 24 hours, ending at 8 am this morning, a light rain fall
deposited under a tenth of an inch of rain across the region.

High pressure over New England will bring dry and warmer weather today.
A cold front approaching from the west on Thursday will bring the risk
for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Before the
cold front exits east of Cape Cod Friday morning, low pressure will
ride along it moving off the mid Atlantic coast Friday afternoon. This
low will then track south of New England Friday night into Saturday
possibly bringing a chilly rain to southeast portions of the region.

Area main stem river levels are expected to remain nearly steady or
fall slightly over the next 24 to 48 hours.

These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
