Daily River And Lake Summary
National Weather Service Columbia Sc
1140 AM EDT Sun Jul 23 2017

...All River Forecast Points are below Flood Stage...

Atmospheric moistute has increased during the past 24 hours
over the forecast area. Expected moderate or greater instability
and a low pressure trough dropping in from the northwest this
afternoon may trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Some storms could produce locally heavy rainfall.

Atmospheric conditions will continue to support at least scattered
afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms Monday through
Tuesday. Locally heavy rainfall could potentially cause flooding
of streets and low-lying areas during the next few days.

Minor fluctuations are expected on mainstem rivers in the area
and will be driven mostly by power generation with associated water
releases from upstream reservoirs.
