..All River Forecast Points Remain Below Flood Stage...

As a low pressure system continues to impact the region...area river
basins have received generally between 1 to 3 inches of rainfall. The
heaviest 24-hour precipitation ending this morning has been concentrated
primarily across the southern Midlands and SCAR...impacting the Edison
and Mid-to-Lower Savannah Rivers. High pressure will build back into the
area beginning Tuesday evening into Wednesday with drier conditions.
Rises will continue for a short time in some main stem rivers, but all
are expected to stay well below flood stage.
