Water levels can be expected to rise a bit on the languille River
and the Saint Francis River.


At 11 AM Saturday, the stage on the Saint Francis River at Lake City
was 9.4 feet and steady. Flood stage is 10.0 feet. At 10.0 feet,
Flooding is occurring in the swamps along the river..

At 11 AM Saturday, the stage on the L`anguille River at Palestine was
22.3 feet and rising. Flood stage is 25.0 feet. At 22.0 feet, Crop
land near the river is affected by flood water..

The next River Statement will be issued [...] or sooner if conditions
warrant.
