This river statement is for the Clear Fork Brazos River at/near
Hawley.

The Clear Fork of the Brazos River is expected to rise to near bankfull stage near
Hawley.  The River will remain below flood stage. At 730 pm, the stage of the Clear
Fork of the Brazos at Hawley was was 10.4 feet. Flood stage is 25 feet. The river
is expected to continue to rise and crest around 10.4 feet, just
above bankfull late Wednesday night.


For the Clear Fork of the Brazos near Hawley.
* Latest stage:               10.4 feet at 725 PM Tuesday
* Flood Stage:                25.0  feet.
* Action Stage:               10.0  feet.
* Forecast:  No flooding is expected. The river is forecast to slowly
rise and crest around  10.4 feet again early Friday morning. The river is forecast
to then slowly recede.
