A COLD FRONT EXTENDS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM NORTH OF WAKE ISLAND AT
25N167E TO 22N150E THEN CONTINUES AS A SHEAR LINE TO BEYOND 17N130E.
CLOUDINESS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE FOUND ALONG AND UP TO 300 MILES
NORTHWEST OF THIS BOUNDARY.

A SURFACE TROUGH EXTENDS SOUTHEASTWARD FROM NEAR YAP AT 7N140E TO A
WEAK CIRCULATION CENTERED SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK NEAR 2N150E...THEN
CONTINUES EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD TO NEAR EQ157E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRESENT NEAR YAP AND SOUTH OF CHUUK AND
POHNPEI WITHIN 200 MILES OF A LINE FROM 9N138E TO 1N155E...SOUTHWEST
OF KOROR SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 4N130E TO 2N139E...AND SOUTHWEST OF
KOSRAE SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 5N157E TO 5N160E TO 2N165E.

A TRADE-WIND DISTURBANCE OVER TARAWA AND BUTARITARI IS CAUSING
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WELL SOUTH OF MAJURO
BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 4N FROM 173E TO THE DATE LINE.
