  AT 1153 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED
  A BAND OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...EXTENDING FROM
  BROWNSVILLE TO WESLACO. THE BAND IS MOVING MOVING NORTH AT
  25 MPH.

  THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING...
  HEAVY RAINFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR.
  PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS AND HIGHWAYS IS EXPECTED.

  BROWNSVILLE...
  LOS FRESNOS...
  HARLINGEN...
  WESLACO...
  SAN BENITO...

  WHEN DRIVING THROUGH HEAVY RAIN...SLOW DOWN. ALWAYS LEAVE A SAFE
  DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND OTHER VEHICLES. WHEN USING WIPERS...TURN
  ON HEADLIGHTS. AVOID DRIVING THROUGH PUDDLES THAT COULD HIDE
  POTHOLES OR CAUSE HYDROPLANING. MAKE SURE YOUR HEADLAMPS...TIRES...
  AND WIPERS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. KEEP AN EMERGENCY KIT WHICH
  INCLUDES A FLASHLIGHT...FLARES...AND SIMPLE HAND TOOLS. SEVEN
