Strong thunderstorms will continue to affect the Big Island
through the remainder of the afternoon. Dangerous cloud to ground
lightning, strong gusty winds of up to 50 mph, and torrential
rainfall can be expected with the strongest storms. Remember, if
you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by
lightning. Seek safe shelter inside a building or a vehicle.
