...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHWESTERN GALVESTON...NORTHEASTERN
BRAZORIA...NORTHWESTERN CHAMBERS...SOUTHERN LIBERTY AND SOUTHEASTERN
HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM CDT...

At 210 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
producing torrential rainfall along a line extending from Houston
Ship Channel to Alvin. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and small hail will be possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Pasadena, southeastern Pearland, League City, Baytown, Texas City,
Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park, Alvin, Dickinson, South Houston,
Santa Fe, Seabrook, Galena Park, Webster, Beach City, Kemah, Clear
Lake, Channelview and South Belt / Ellington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
