...ANOTHER EXTREMELY HOT DAY ON MONDAY...

MONDAY WILL BE VERY HOT ACROSS THE AREA. TEMPERATURES WILL RISE INTO
THE MID 90S...COMBINING WITH DEWPOINTS IN THE LOW-TO-MID 70S...TO
PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 100 TO 104 DEGREES DURING THE AFTERNOON
AND EVENING.

ALTHOUGH THIS IS SLIGHTLY BELOW HEAT ADVISORY THRESHOLDS...IT IS
STILL IMPORTANT TO TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO STAY SAFE
DURING THIS HOT AND HUMID WEATHER.

THESE PRECAUTIONS INCLUDE...DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS AND TAKE
FREQUENT BREAKS IF WORKING OUTSIDE...AND IF YOU MUST WORK
OUTSIDE...DO SO EARLY IN THE MORNING OR LATE IN THE EVENING. CHECK
UP ON THE ELDERLY AND HAVE THEM STAY IN AN AIR CONDITIONED
LOCATION IF POSSIBLE. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED IN VEHICLES
WITH THE WINDOWS ROLLED UP. PROVIDE PLENTY OF WATER FOR OUTDOOR
PETS AND LIVESTOCK...AND KEEP THEM IN A WELL VENTILATED AND SHADY
LOCATION.

A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE AREA LATE MONDAY...BRINGING AN END TO
THIS VERY HOT WEATHER BY TUESDAY.
