...Patchy dense fog this morning, mainly near Area Lakes and
Streams...

Patchy dense Fog has once again developed across parts of East
Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Southwest North Carolina early
this morning.

The dense fog will reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less in
some locations. Areas near lakes or rivers, or sheltered valleys,
will be especially vulnerable to the low visibility. When driving
through dense fog, slow down, use your headlights, and leave
plenty of distance ahead of you.

The fog will dissipate by mid-morning giving way to partly cloudy
sky with a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the
afternoon.
