...HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE OVER WESTERN BROOKS RANGE...

A SERIES OF LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS MOVING EASTWARD OUT OF SIBERIA
AND THE BERING SEA IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. THE HEAVIEST
RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN THE MOUNTAINS OF THE BROOKS RANGE.

THE RAINFALL MAY CAUSE SIGNIFICANT RISES IN THE LEVELS ON MANY
RIVERS AND STREAMS DRAINING OUT OF THE BROOKS RANGE...AND FLOODING
MAY BE POSSIBLE. THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING WILL BE ON
RIVERS AND STREAMS DRAINING OUT OF THE BROOKS RANGE.

PEOPLE PLANNING TRAVEL OR OUTDOOR ACTIVITY ON OR NEAR RIVERS IN
THESE AREAS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT HEAVY RAINFALL COULD CAUSE
SIGNIFICANT RISES IN THE WATER LEVELS AND OF THE POSSIBLE FLOOD
POTENTIAL.
