...ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOWFALL TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY FOR THE
CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLATEAU...

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL DIVE SOUTHEASTWARD TONIGHT AND
BRING A GOOD CHANCE OF SNOW ACROSS THE NORTHEASTERN PORTION OF THE
MID STATE. THE SNOWFALL SHOULD BEGIN AFTER MIDNIGHT AND CONTINUE
INTO FRIDAY. AREAS ALONG THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLATEAU COULD
SEE BETWEEN ONE HALF AND ONE INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATION.
ELSEWHERE...AMOUNTS OF LESS THAN A HALF INCH COULD EXTEND AS FAR
WEST AS INTERSTATE 24. THE SNOW MAY MIX WITH SOME RAINSHOWER
ACTIVITY IN THE AFTERNOON BEFORE ENDING BY EVENING.

MOTORISTS SHOULD TAKE NOTE THAT GROUND SFC TEMPERATURES ARE ON THE
COLD SIDE AND ANY SNOWFALL THAT OCCURS WILL ACCUMULATE RATHER
QUICKLY. IF ENCOUNTERING SNOW COVERED ROADS WHEN TRAVELLING...SLOW
DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION. HAZARDOUS
ROAD CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY TO DEVELOP BY LATE TONIGHT ACROSS THE
PLATEAU.
