..AREAS OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INLAND SHORTLY...

At 1244 AM AST, Areas of strong thunderstorms across the coastal
waters of southeast Puerto Rico will continue to move northwest at
10 to 15 knots. These showers with thunderstorms are expected to
move inland shortly and affect Yabucoa westward to Guayama. This
activity will move further inland, also affecting nearby
municipalities.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
