...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTH CENTRAL PINAL COUNTY UNTIL
730 PM MST...

AT 633 PM MST...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A CLUSTER OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE OFF INTERSTATE 10. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE
GENERALLY MOVING SOUTH AT 5 TO 10 MPH. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL
LIKELY DEVELOP OVER INTERSTATE 10 OVER THE NEXT HALF HOUR.

VISIBILITIES AS LOW AS 1 MILE DUE TO BLOWING DUST AND WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
ELOY...FRIENDLY CORNERS...RED ROCK...PICACHO AND PICACHO PEAK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BLOWING DUST CAN QUICKLY REDUCE VISIBILITY...CAUSING ACCIDENTS THAT
MAY INVOLVE CHAIN COLLISIONS. IF DENSE DUST IS OBSERVED ACROSS A
ROADWAY...PULL YOUR VEHICLE OFF THE PAVEMENT AS FAR AS POSSIBLE TO
STOP. TURN OFF THE LIGHTS...SET THE EMERGENCY BRAKE...AND TAKE YOUR
FOOT OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL TO ENSURE TAIL LIGHTS ARE NOT ILLUMINATED.
