Surf along north facing shores will be 2 feet or less through
Thursday.

Surf along west facing shores will be 2 feet or less through
Thursday.

Surf along east facing shores will be 4 to 6 feet through Thursday.

Surf along south facing shores will be 2 to 3 feet through Thursday.

Outlook through Tuesday August 01:
The breezy trade winds will maintain moderate choppy surf along east
facing shores this week. Swells from distant tropical cyclones in the
eastern Pacific may reinforce the moderate choppy surf along east
facing shores from this weekend into early next week. Small swells
from the southeast, south and southwest will maintain small background
surf along south facing shores through this weekend. Elsewhere, a mid-
to long period west swell from a distance typhoon in the western
Pacific arriving on Friday may cause a slight boost in surf heights
along exposed west facing shores this weekend.

Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The
surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average
height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest
breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the
significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near
any surf zone.
