FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION WILL RESULT IN ANOTHER HOT DAY ACROSS
THE FORECAST AREA TODAY. RESIDUAL MOISTURE AND A WEAK DISTURBANCE
WILL ALLOW FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO
DEVELOP, FAVORING THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN HIGHER TERRAIN. SOME
STORMS WILL PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. TOWARDS
MID WEEK, THE HIGH WILL SHIFT FARTHER WEST PUSHING DRIER AIR INTO
THE REGION FROM THE NORTHWEST. DRIER WEATHER WILL RESULT FOR THE
SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK. DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN AT ABOVE
SEASONAL LEVELS THROUGH THE WEEK.
