WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
310 PM CDT FRI AUG 29 2014

RAIN CHANCES INCREASE LATER TONIGHT INTO THIS WEEKEND AS A
DISTURBANCE CURRENTLY IN THE CENTRAL PLAINS LIFTS NORTHEASTWARD
TOWARD THE GREAT LAKES AND ALLOWS AMPLE AMOUNTS OF GULF MOISTURE TO
BE TRANSPORTED INTO OUR AREA. THIS TRANSLATES INTO LIKELY CHANCES OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ESPECIALLY SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT
WITH HEAVY RAIN AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THE REGION BEGINS TO DRY OUT AS WE
HEAD LATER INTO THE DAY ON SUNDAY AND LABOR DAY ALTHOUGH SCATTERED
RAIN CHANCES WILL STILL EXIST.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE COOLER THIS WEEKEND WITH MORE CLOUD COVER AND
RAIN AROUND WITH HIGHS IN THE MID 80S BUT HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL RISE
ONCE AGAIN CREATING A MUGGY FEEL FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. BY EARLY
NEXT WEEK LOOKS LIKE WE COULD BE FLIRTING WITH 90 DEGREES ONCE
AGAIN. SUMMER HEAT TOOK AWHILE TO GRIP OUR AREA BUT SURE SEEMS LIKE
NOW THAT IT HAS IT`S NOT GOING AWAY QUIETLY.
