...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST
TODAY...

* Snow will transition to a wintry mix of snow...sleet and
  freezing this morning.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur through 9 AM.

* Wet snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and light ice
  accumulations are expected.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times.

* The ice will result in difficult travel conditions....
  including during the morning commute ON Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving. For the latest road conditions...go to the MDOT website

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST
SATURDAY...

* Snow will transition to a wintry mix of snow...sleet and
  freezing rain later this morning.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur through noon today...and
  the greatest amount of ice accumulation will occur between 7 PM
  Friday and 1 AM Saturday.

* Snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of
  one to two tenths of an inch are expected.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times.

* power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
  Travel will be dangerous.

MORNING TO 1 AM EST SATURDAY...

* Expect a wintry mix to develop this morning and then diminish
  after midnight Saturday.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur through 1 PM today...and
  the greatest amount of ice accumulation will occur between 7 PM
  Friday and 1 AM Saturday.

* Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice
  accumulations of 1/10 to 1/4 of an inch are expected.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times.

* Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice.
  Travel will be dangerous.
