.A PACIFIC STORM WILL BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND ICE TO
SOUTHEASTERN OREGON AND SOUTHWESTERN IDAHO LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
THURSDAY. THE STORM WILL ALSO BRING MUCH WARMER AIR AND RAISE THE
SNOW LEVEL TO 5000 TO 6000 FEET MSL WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
SNOW WILL CHANGE TO RAIN AT LOWER ELEVATIONS AND...ALONG WITH
SNOWMELT...WILL RESULT IN SLUSH OR LIQUID WATER. HOWEVER...WIND-
SHELTERED VALLEYS WILL REMAIN COLD ENOUGH FOR FREEZING RAIN AND UP
TO A QUARTER INCH OF ICE ACCUMULATION.

* WINDS...SOUTHEAST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH RESULTING IN
