EVENING...
...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...Sleet and light snow are quickly ending across the
  advisory area this afternoon. Despite this, some patches of ice
  may remain on area roadways through at least the evening hours.

* WHERE...Portions of South Central Texas, including I-35 from
  Austin to San Antonio.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Also, be prepared for a hard freeze
  overnight, with low temperatures Wednesday morning in the upper
  teens to low 20s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that earlier freezing rain and
sleet that fell could cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
patches of slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving.

Precipitation has ended across the area. Most roadways have
improved, however motorists are urged to drive with caution
through the afternoon and evening and be alert for any patches of
ice.

Also, be prepared for a hard freeze overnight, with low
temperatures Wednesday morning in the mid teens to low 20s.

* WHAT...Significant icing occurring. The ice will result in
  very slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges,
  including during the evening commute. Additional ice
  accumulations of a light glaze are expected.

* WHERE...Fayette, Gonzales, De Witt and Lavaca County.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain, sleet, and patchy light snow
  will end west to east late afternoon and evening. Also, be
  prepared for a hard freeze overnight, with low temperatures
  Wednesday morning in the upper teens to low 20s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of ice are
occurring. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
