...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT MONDAY...

* MAIN HAZARD...Wet snow and reduced visibilities.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...Generally 3 to 8 inches, with the highest
amounts expected to occur in a snow band, generally favoring
  areas west of Highway 183.

* TIMING...Rain and possibly sleet this morning will mix with and
change to snow during the afternoon. Snow is forecast through
  the evening before ending overnight.

* WINDS...From the north at 25 to 35 mph, with gusts of 45 mph.

* IMPACTS...The combination of snow and strong winds will result
in reduced visibilities, and near blizzard conditions are
possible in snow bands. If several inches of snow accumulate,
damage to tree limbs and power lines may occur.

* UNCERTAINTY...Although accumulating snow is possible, confidence
in exact amounts is below average. Temperatures near or above
freezing will limit snow totals, and the heaviest snow is
expected to occur in a snow band. A change in temperature by a
degree or two could result in lower or higher snow amounts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow and blowing snow means
severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring.
Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel
dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel, keep
an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of
an emergency.
