.A DEEP FETCH OF SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE NOSES INTO THE REGION
STARTING MONDAY NIGHT AND LINGERS THROUGH MIDWEEK. THIS WARM,
MOIST CONVEYOR BELT WILL OVERRUN A VERY COLD AIR MASS CURRENTLY IN
PLACE BRINGING THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERAL HOURS OF FREEZING RAIN,
SLEET, AND HIGH MOUNTAIN SNOW. SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL
BE POSSIBLE WITHIN THE CASCADE VALLEYS, WESTERN COLUMBIA BASIN,

WATCH FOR ICE...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* LOCATIONS...SANDPOINT, BONNERS FERRY, PRIEST RIVER, EASTPORT,
  SCHWEITZER MOUNTAIN ROAD, MOSES LAKE, EPHRATA, OTHELLO,
  QUINCY, GRAND COULEE, ODESSA, WILBUR, COULEE CITY, COLVILLE,
  DEER PARK, CHEWELAH, NEWPORT, KETTLE FALLS, SPRINGDALE-HUNTERS

* TIMING...PERIODS OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WITH MIXING
  WITH SNOW WILL BEGIN MONDAY NIGHT BECOMING STEADY WITH MODERATE
  INTENSITIES AT TIMES TUESDAY. LIGHT TO MODERATE PRECIPITATION
  REMAINS POSSIBLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT BUT THE THREAT FOR ICE
  FROM FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET SHOULD BE DIMINISHING TUESDAY
  AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* IMPACTS...SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS MAY CREATE TREACHEROUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS, TREE DAMAGE, AND POWER OUTAGES.
