...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for the west slopes of the north Cascades, which
is in effect until 5 AM PDT Wednesday.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...An additional 6 to 10 inches of snow
  through late tonight. Snow at times today will become heavier
  early this evening, then may mix with or change to rain late
  tonight.

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS...Mount Baker.

* TIMING...Snow at times today will become heavy at times tonight.
  Snow levels near 4000 feet rising to 4500 to 5500 feet after
  midnight.

* MAIN IMPACT...Snow will cause difficult driving conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
