ANTICIPATE WIDESPREAD SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL TO BEGIN LATER THIS
MORNING...THEN CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY TODAY BEFORE
TAPERING OFF FROM WEST TO EAST THIS EVENING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL
GENERALLY RANGE FROM 0.75 INCHES TO 1.25 INCHES OVER NORTHERN
MARICOPA AND SOUTHERN GILA COUNTIES...WITH ISOLATED AREAS CLOSER
TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS NORTH AND EAST OF METRO
PHOENIX. AREAS THAT SEE PERSISTENT RAINFALL COULD EXPERIENCE MINOR
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND WASHES.
