Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northwest California

.DISCUSSION...Gusty north to northeast winds and low RH`s over
the exposed higher terrain are expected to continue this morning.
Winds are forecast to become northwest to west this afternoon
and evening, however RH`s will remain low. A frontal system will
drop down from the NW late tonight through Thursday and provide
wetting rain to Del Norte and northern Humboldt Counties.
Temperatures will warm above normal today and remain above
seasonal averages through Friday. A unseasonably cold system will
drop down from the NW Friday night through Saturday, bringing
moderate to heavy rain, high mountain snow and much cooler temperatures.
