.DISCUSSION...A warming trend continues through Thursday. Minimum
humidity levels as low as 8 to 15 percent across portions of the
southern Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande Plains this afternoon and
again Thursday afternoon could bring some elevated fire weather
conditions but winds remain the limiting factor with 20 foot
speeds at or below 10 mph. A cold front will bring northerly winds
and the beginning of a cooling trend for the latter portion of
this week. The cooler temperatures will begin on Friday and
continue through the weekend. There will be varying chances for
wetting rains across the region from Thursday through Sunday. The
greatest chances appear Sunday through Monday. temperatures will
begin to warm back up Monday, but wetting rain potential also
declines.
