Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
645 AM MDT Wed Apr 26 2017

.Discussion...

Updated to end precipitation over the eastern mountains and
plains for this morning. No other updates at this time.

Active weather looks to continue through the weekend. Mountain
areas will see periods of snow through Friday. Weak disturbances
will move across the Plains producing periods of showers with light
rain. At this time, there appears to be a major storm system Friday
night through Saturday. This would be a cold storm, with the
potential for heavy snowfall over the mountains, spreading east into
the Plains. Another upper storm system is possible early next week
with more rain and mountain snow.

Smoke dispersions will be very good to excellent for this afternoon.
Conditions will become fair to poor across the region tonight.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
