.Discussion...

A storm system will move east across northern New Mexico today
and continue into the Southern High Plains through the day Wednesday.
The projected movement of the system will bring widespread rain
and snow the area Today through Wednesday, with heavy wet snowfall
expected across the Eastern Mountains and higher adjacent plains.

Warmer and drier weather is anticipated across the area on Thursday,
before another weather system takes aim on the area bringing widespread
rain and snow the the area once again Friday and Saturday.

Afternoon smoke dispersion rates will rise into the Fair to good
categories for most areas Today.  On Wednesday, the plains will
see better dispersions, due to stronger winds.
