.Discussion...

A cool front will come down the plains late this afternoon
and evening. This weather system will have the potential to
bring locally heavy rains to the Palmer Divide and the
Central mountain region. Over the remainder of the
mountains, scattered to numerous showers are anticipated.
Flash flooding on area burn scars will be possible today.
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the remainder
of the plains. Temperatures will once again be hot over the
plains today.

Tomorrow will be cooler with a good chance of showers and
thunderstorms over the region. The overall best chance of
rain tomorrow will be south of highway 50.

Cooler weather with a chance of showers and thunderstorms
will continue into Sunday.

Temperatures will warm up with mainly isolated to scattered
showers and thunderstorms into mid week. By later in the
week, we will see a better chance of showers and storms
returning to the region.

Smoke dispersion will vary considerably across the
district today and tomorrow. Please see the zone forecast
below for specific smoke dispersion forecasts.
