Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
959 AM MDT Mon Mar 27 2017

.Discussion...
Generally dry and warm weather expected across the area Today,
as upper level ridging builds across the State. Will see
increasing chances of showers across the Continental Divide this
afternoon, with showers spreading east tonight, as a strong
weather system moves across the Great Basin.

This system is projected to move across Northern New Mexico
through the day Tuesday and continue into the Southern High Plains
through the day Wednesday. The projected movement of the system
looks to bring widespread rain and snow the area Tuesday and
Wednesday, with heavy wet snow possible across the Eastern
Mountains and higher adjacent plains.

Another weather system could bring widespread rain and snow the
the area once again Friday and Saturday.

Afternoon smoke dispersion looks to be good or better across the
area today and again on Tuesday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
