National Weather Service Pueblo Co

...Flash Flood Watch Eastern Mountains and Plains through 3 AM MDT Thursday...

.Discussion...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to track east across the mountains
and plains tonight, as deep monsoon moisture spreads over the
region. Thunderstorms will weaken during the late night hours and
areas of stratus and light rain are possible, mainly along and
east of the I-25 corridor. Deep monsoon moisture will be over the
district for the rest of the week through the weekend and into
early next week, leading to daily rounds of mainly afternoon and
evening showers and storms across most of south central and
southeast Colorado. Flash flash flooding will be possible through
the period, particularly over area burn scars.

Afternoon ventilation rates will generally be poor to fair on Thursday
and fair to good on Friday.
