...A red flag warning is in effect from noon until 6 pm Tuesday
for gusty winds and low humidity values for fire weather zones
221...222 and 226 through 237 which includes Fremont county, the
greater Pikes Peak region and all of the southeast Colorado
Plains.

.Discussion...

Meteorological conditions for exteme fire behavior will be in
place tomorrow across the plains and Teller and Fremont counties.
Winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph will be likely, along
with humidty values down to 9 to 15 percent. Temperatures will be
unseasonably warm with readings in the upper 80s to lower 90s
across the plains. It will be dry across all of the district
tomorrow.

For Tuesday, it will also be dry but temperatures will be cooler
and winds will be much weaker. The next chance for dry, hot and
windy conditions will be Thursday. There will be an increasing
chance of rain and snow late in the weekend into early next week.

Smoke dispersion will be excellent tomorrow afternoon across all
of the region. Smoke dispersion will be good or better across all
of the district on Wednesday.
