Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
415 AM MST Wed Jan 17 2018

.Discussion...

Dry weather is expected through Friday, with temperatures
warming to much above average through the period. A potent
Pacific storm will then move toward the region this weekend,
possibly bringing critical fire weather conditions to mainly
the eastern plains on Friday and Saturday. Precipitation
will begin to increase over the mountains along the Continental
Divide Saturday, then spread eastward across remainder of the
mountains and out onto the plains Saturday night and early
Sunday. Much colder weather will also move across the district
Saturday night into Sunday. Generally dry and warmer
weather will then develop over the region early next week.

Smoke dispersion over the region will stay in the fair to
poor category today and Thursday as transport winds remain
light.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
