Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
751 PM MST Fri Feb 16 2018

.Discussion...

Increasing winds expected this weekend with critical fire weather
conditions likely across much of the southeast plains by Sunday.
Snow will start to increase across the Continental Divide Sunday night
and Monday with moderate accumulations likely. Meanwhile, strong and
possibly damaging wind gusts will be possible Sunday night across the
southern I-25 corridor and Sangre De Cristo mountains. Monday will
continue to be warm across the plains ahead of a cold front which will
spread cooler temperatures and a slight chance of snow to the southeast
mountains and plains Tuesday. The weather dries out and warms up
for the latter part of next week.

Afternoon smoke dispersions will rise into the good to very good
category on Saturday and into the very good to excellent category
on Sunday as winds increase.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
