Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
407 AM MST Wed Nov 22 2017

.Discussion...

Dry weather will continue across the district with temperatures
remaining above normal. Winds will increase on Friday and near
critical fire weather conditions will be possible, particularly
for the southern I-25 corridor. The next weather system to impact
the area will arrive on Monday spreading the possibility of snow
to the central mountains and strong winds for the plains. Monday
could also be a critical fire weather day for much of the southeast
mountains and plains depending on the timing of the system.

Most areas will see Good to Very good dispersions this afternoon
before dropping into the poor category during the early evening
as surface based inversions develop. Afternoon smoke dispersions
will rise into the Fair to Good category for Thursday.
