National Weather Service Pueblo Co

.Discussion...

Active weather will continue into the weekend with periods of rain
and snow showers over the mountains tonight into Friday, while the
plains see isolated to scattered rain showers. A major storm
system will then push across the area Friday night through Saturday,
bringing heavy snow to the mountains and Interstate 25 corridor, and
at least a period of snow to the plains Saturday morning. This system
will then move eastward late Saturday, with clearing skies and a
widespread freeze possible by Sunday morning. Another, weaker upper
system is possible early next week with more rain and mountain snow.

Afternoon smoke dispersion rates will be be very good to excellent
on Thursday, then good to excellent on Friday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
