Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
845 PM MDT Fri Mar 15 2024

.Discussion...

Snow increases later tonight into Saturday morning over the
southwest mountains, with accumulating snows returning. This will
continue for much of Saturday, with snow possibly spilling into
the San Luis Valley and southeast mountains later in the day.
Additionally, rain and snow will be possible elsewhere across the
lower elevations. There will be chances of precipitation
continuing into the early part of next week across the higher
terrain, while the most of the plains dry out. Chances of
precipitation will return by mid part of next week. No critical
fire weather conditions are anticipated through next week.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be poor to good across the area on
Saturday and Sunday.
