Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1004 AM MDT Fri May 26 2017

.Discussion...

A more active weather pattern is expected for the next few days.
Today there will be some showers and thunderstorms across the
central Colorado mountains, the Pikes Peak regions and across
the southeast plains. On Saturday, precipitation is expected
to be more widespread, especially over the southeast mountains
and plains. Then on Sunday and Monday, the mountains and
high valleys will see good chances for showers and thunderstorms.
Concerns will increase for heavy rainfall on area burn scars
Saturday through Monday.

Excellent smoke dispersion is expected this afternoon across
all of south central and southeast Colorado. On Saturday,
good to very good dispersion can be expected in the afternoon
across southern Colorado.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
